• Very nice house. The view from the windows is amazing, the location is great. The owner of the house is a lovely woman, she was always in touch and helped if necessary. The territory is closed, its access to the beach. The house is excellent, in the future I still want to go there.

• Juvy's place is right infront of a pristine beach front. The white sand is powdery and the beach is good for kids as there are no big waves. My family enjoyed our stay, Juvy was such a gracious host she allowed us to check in early and check out a little late just in time for our trip back to Dumaguete. It is close to the pier so there are many pedicabs going around the area. We decided that this will be our go to place in Siquijor. It is right next to an old cemetery but this does not bother us at all.Thank you so much Juvy for hosting us, until our next trip to Siquijor.

• What I like best is it’s near to the beach. Very near, and even walkable from Siquijor town center. Transportation readily available. The place is spacious and has and has equipped with facilities for a relaxing stay.

• Nice place directly on the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. All of the appliances, electronics and WiFi worked well. The air con worked better than most of the Airbnb’s I have stayed in the Philippines. I would definitely recommend this place and I will stay here again.

House rules and some good advices

Intro

Welcome to our private home! We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. And we hope you will take well care of it as we do. Please leave the house in the same condition as you found it upon arrival. That includes washing the dishes before leaving. Please inform us about your planned check-out time. Please remember to leave the keys!

Concerning the kitchen

Remember that you are in the tropics. Do not leave any food outside. Ants and other insects will have a party before you know it. Transfer the closed waste bags from the kitchen to the larger bags in the terrace. Bedrooms Please, only use aircon when you are in the bedrooms and keep doors and windows closed.

Bathroom

Please use the mop to keep the floor dry after showering. Then, use the bathroom mat to keep your feet dry. Please, do not use the towels as bathroom mats. Instead use the provided bathroom mats.

Laundry, drinks

Laundry can be performed near Siquijor port or at “Siquijor Plage” just next by. Or ask Connie - the housekeeper, we can help you. At Juvy's Beach Bar in the garden facing the beach, you can order drinks and beer, when open. “Siquijor Plage” you can also eat and buy beer, wines and spirits at“Siquijor Plage, just next by . Alternatively just buy the drinks you like near in the road.

Try out the very nearby located Siquijor Boulevard if you like some barbeque.

You can walk to Siquijor town first by the beach, then by the sea. You will reach Siquijor port within 10 minutes and town within 12 minutes of walk. In town there is a market as well as lots of shops and bakeries. There is also a multitude of restaurants and bars in Siquijor. Try them out!

Swimming

Please, use shoes or sandals. There may be sea urchins. These should at all cost be avoided. After swimming, please use the outdoor shower in the garden before going inside the house. Install suitable app to you phone in order to know when high tide is coming (best for swimming).
